Promalit is an inert mineral fibre board. It is light green in colour and is normally used in the fire protection of structural steel, and as a thermal insulation core for composite structures and fire doors.

The Promalit Fixings System uses spiral screws made from 16 s.w.g. galvanised wire. Typical Applications - For use with Promalit steelwork encasement. Approximately 30 screws are normally required per m2 of Promalit casing.
